In my opinion i think A Doll's House is really interesting! Act 1 gave me so many mixed emotions to feel while reading. Nora is a complicated woman who does many things behind her husbands back, which is never good because shes not being loyal to him, she has so many secrets he doesn't even know about yet. But i like Nora shes really smarter then you think. If i was her i would tell Helmer to try and fix the big problem she was in, since she borrowed so much money she doesnt have the money to pay it back. Her husband Helmer is so rude to her, always calls her names like "featherbrain" or "skylark" he should have a little more respect for her, right? i don't know how i feel about him yet, his character is kind of confusing. All he focuses on is his job, i mean there is nothing wrong with that but eventually Nora needs some attention too if you ask me.

    Krogstad is blackmailing Nora because she had forged her dads signature after he died so she can get money to save her husband from dying, i don't think that's all completely wrong, at least she didn't spend it to go shopping like i would've done. She needed it to save him. And now that hes using it against her just so she an try and change Helmer's mind to make him stay in the bank business is just more wrong. Dr. Rank is has tuberculous and is very ill. I hope he ends up alright in the rest of the acts. Ms. Linde is such a sweetheart, shes a family friend who found Nora and asked for her & Helmer's help to find her a job.
